Use the Bonterms Software License Terms (SLT) to govern subscriptions to installed or on-premises software, including license rights, restrictions, support, and related services.
The Software License Terms are a Bonterms Standard Agreement and are entered into through a Cover Page that sets out key terms, attachments, and any agreed modifications.
Steps:
- Review the Software License Terms with your lawyer or legal counsel (see example)

Prepare your Cover Page (see example):
- Identify the parties and cmplete the Key Terms: Effective Date, Governing Law and Courts
- Propose any Additional Terms (additions to, or modifications of the SLA) (see examples)

Incorporate any Attachments by reference
- For example, add a Support Policy if you have one
- Send the Cover Page to your Counterparty.
- Sign the Cover Page and create your SLT Agreement!
