What is Bonterms?
- The Bonterms Platform is a neutral, third-party platform that helps facilitate the signing of a deal. The platform uses Standard Agreements, which are balanced and vetted by a Committee of 100+ lawyers and legal professionals from various industries.

I just received a deal but I don't know what to do. How does this work?
- Start by visiting the Recipient Center - it has access to First-Time Recipient Tips and a Recipient Quick Start Guide to get up to speed quickly. You’ll also find guidance on terminology, adding viewers, managing signatures, and using the Standard Playbook.
I’m the wrong person to receive this Deal. What should I do?
- Reassign Ownership of the Deal (without creating an account), or
- Create an Account and Add a Team Member.
How do I add someone from my company or outside counsel to help me?
- To add an Approver or Reviewer to your deal, you'll need to Create a free Account and Add a Team Member. You do not need a Bonterms Account to add a Signer or Viewer.
I’ve lost access to a Deal, how do I get it back?
- Use the link in your original Deal email (If expired, the system will generate a new link), or
- Create a free Account and access the Deal from your Dashboard.
What are Standard Agreements?
- Standard Agreements are free-to-use, neutral agreements that are implemented and customzied by a Cover Page. Bonterms Standard Agreements are designed to meet the core needs of each party to the transaction but not favor either. Because Standard Agreements are not drafted by either party, they provide a “neutral” starting point for a transaction.
